Projects
Spark Realm ProjectsSome of these projects have never truly seen the light of day, and could definitely use a helping hand to get up and running. There are a few on here that have already gotten a bit of a start, but need help to progress further and blossom to their full potential. Check out the list below to see where you can lend your assistance! Some of the most desired skills are web development and graphic design skills, but read on below to see if you can help in any other way! S.W.A.T.The Spark Worldwide Ambassador Team works to improve the Spark community by creating new game content, training players in Spark tactics and etiquette, assist with Spark leagues and tournaments, and advertise Spark on other websites and in real life. Requirements include only a willingness to help out, time spent writing content, and a basic knowledge of HTML coding (though not necessary) is a plus. If you'd like to help out, get in touch with Reaper Charlie or PitchblackItai. Spark FacesSpark Faces categorizes and stores pictures, information, and websites of many Sparkers. This site requires a lot of manual updating but is mostly a coding operation. Requirements include light HTML/PHP coding and scripting, and intermediate to advanced Photoshop skills (for color correction, resizing, and optimization of images). If you have some ideas that might make the site better, or just would like to help out in updating the site, get in touch with Reaper Charlie. Spark Racing LeagueSpark Racing League is just that, a racing league, so the skill factor that accompanies most leagues is not a requirement. Anyone can race and be good at it. This site needs little in the way of development, it's mostly referees we need at this point. If you'd like to help out, get in touch with Reaper Charlie or Gold. Spark VideoSpark Video (originally known as Spark Recordings) takes video from leagues, tournaments, clanwars, everywhere, and store it all in once convenient place. They have a large amount of league footage, and are always on the lookout for more recorders to join their team. Requirements include owning the right programs, having a relatively beefy computer (recording is processor/RAM intensive) and being able to show up for league games to record. If you'd like to help out, get in touch with Basehead.
